Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a Data Clerk to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible person with excellent communication and administrative skills to work as part of the Neonatal Unit.

You will be responsible for comprehensive and efficient administrative and clerical duties for the ward. Use computer systems in order to maintain patient records.

You will support the nursing and medical staff with duties in order to facilitate high quality direct patient care.

You'll also act as first point of contact for all those who visit our ward including welcoming and greeting service users and visitors.

You will be responsible for the monitoring and management of the Neonatal specific Electronic Patient Records system, called Badgernet.

IT skills are necessary, and knowledge of Lorenzo system would be beneficial, but training will be given. You will enhance our team to maintain the highest standards of record keeping in line with data protection have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels with the ability to produce audits and reports as requested or required.

Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Broomfield Hospital and is part of the East of England Network. The Neonatal Unit is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots, and a Transitional Care Service.

We work closely alongside the Maternity and Paediatric Departments here at Broomfield as well as within the MSE network.
