Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to co-lead the UHBW Simulation Services

The simulation services is part of the Trust's learning and development offer and therefore is part of the Head of Clinical Learning and Development portfolio. Learning and development plays a significant role in the current context and future ambition of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, and an ongoing commitment to simulation is a core part of the Trust’s education strategy and ambitions to meet the NHSE long-term workforce plans. The role will co-lead the service with another band 7 manager, as we review our offer and seek new opportunities for expansion and development.

The Simulation Services Team delivers expert multidisciplinary healthcare training, using a variety of interactive human patient simulators, manikins and standardised patients to provide healthcare professionals and support staff with the opportunity to learn, rehearse and perfect simple to highly complex procedures. Whilst the service is primarily based in the Education and Research Centre, there is also provision delivered across all Trust sites, wards and departments.
