Are You the Right Fit?
If you're equipped with the following qualifications, the answer is a resounding yes!
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• RICS chartered status or equivalent professional qualification, or actively seeking chartered status
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in quantity surveying (PQS or Contractor)
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts, especially JCT, cost management, and procurement
• Experience in take-offs and measurement
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (Excel, CAD measurement software) with a willingness to learn new skills
What Lies Ahead?
You will have the opportunity to be involved in:
• Efficiently managing project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
• Administering tender processes, and construction contracts, evaluating variations, and negotiating settlements through the entire project lifecycle
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering and contractor/subcontractor selection
• Carry out early-stage cost plans and estimates or manage the delivery of detailed cost plans and bills as required by our clients
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates
• Collaborate with Langley’s team, clients, developers, architects, engineers, contractors and sub-contractors to achieve project goals
• Opportunity to learn and become involved with dispute resolution or to build on your current experience
