Summary
The purpose of this role is to accurately and efficiently hand pick customer orders using hand held scanners and industry specific side loader trucks; the key difference is the driver rises with the picking platform to pick stock from different heights smoothly.
In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a department induction, full introduction and specialist training on driving our trucks and support with your tasks and responsibilities.
Duties include:
Works from picking lists, picks orders accurately and efficiently.
Checks products for visual and physical defect or damage.
Picks orders at varying heights using a picking platform (once trained and licensed to do so)
Participates in stock counts.
Checks picking machinery for any problems/defects at the beginning of the shift and logs details on the relevant check sheets.
Works in accordance with all health and safety instructions, notices and safe working practices.
