Job Description:
We are in search of a proficient HP Compressor Technician to complement our team. The selected candidate will undertake the installation, servicing, and maintenance tasks associated with our HP compressor fleet and driers. This role necessitates travel nationwide for commissioning and servicing assignments at various client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commissioning, testing, and installation of HP compressors and driers at client sites throughout the UK.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing to uphold optimal performance and reliability of HP compressor units.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in HP compressors and driers.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and suggest necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain meticulous records of service activities, including maintenance schedules and parts inventory.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in the compressed air industry as a technician or engineer, preferably with HP compressors and driers.
• Background in car mechanics or plant servicing is also advantageous.
• Proficient mechanical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components pertinent to compressor operations.
• Familiarity with compressor control systems and instrumentation.
• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK and accommodate occasional irregular work hours on short notice.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
