TeacherActive are looking for a SEND TA / Teaching Assistant in Thornbury to work in a school for pupils with SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties and PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The school seeks to challenge mind sets and help its pupils to have a true sense of belonging in their school and wider community whilst celebrating success every step of the way.
We are looking for a SEND TA / Teaching Assistant to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in with their education. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
• A calm, patient and caring persona
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
In return the successful TA / Teaching Assistant will receive:
• £76 - £88 daily rate
