Summary
JW 4X4 Ltd is an Independent Garage in Northallerton. We repair a wide variety of vehicles from New Range Rovers to old Landrovers, Farm Pickups, Quad bikes, cars and Vans.
We have a great team, from Vehicle Technicians, Service Manager, Valeter to Front of House, we all work together to get through the jobs and keep the Customers Vehicles on the road.
We work Monday to Friday.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Northallerton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles.
We have a fully equipped modern workshop, with full diagnostics including JLR diagnostic tools.
An MOT tester is an advantage, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including electrical and mechanical problems
- Inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality after repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Vehicle Technician
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
