Key Responsibilities

During the manufacture of electro-mechanical assemblies, you’ll be able to undertake the wiring and soldering to a highly skilled level and have a basic mechanical skill level.
An ability to carry out hands on rework of printed circuit boards, including SMT devices with fine pitched leads and leadless components, combined with experience of high temperature electronic components and systems.
Undertake the wiring and soldering of precision tools and assemblies and have the ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams, engineering drawings and follow specific instructions.
To be fully competent in all areas of hand soldering techniques and the ability to undertake fine wire soldering using SAC387 lead free solder.
To undertake wiring, PCB/SMT assembly/rework and mechanical assembly, to specification in line with quality requirements.
Where issues arise in relation to ambiguity of the specification, to liaise with engineering for clarity before proceeding.
Ability to work within a small multi-discipline team, you will be able to adapt to a variety of tasks, contributing positively and effectively to the overall success of the team.
Ensure Weatherford QHSSE procedures are followed and demonstrate a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications Required
5 years relevant work experience in mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing, specifically in fine wiring.
Functional English comprehension reading, writing and speaking.
Basic computer skills.
Advanced knowledge of product lines.
Advanced knowledge and comprehension of mechanical drawings and b.o.m.'s.
Familiar with manufacturing process.
Compliance with I.S.O. 9000/2000 system.
Continuous improvement experience.
