Summary
We require a bubbly and energetic individual to work with our son (8 years old), helping him with getting ready for the day and exploring the local community and getting ready for school.
Our son is a full time wheelchair user. He loves to tell jokes, sing, bake, eat out and to go shopping!
He requires support with getting dressed, personal cares and some support with eating. We live in the BD7 area.
At current, we are looking for a PA to work up to 20 hours at the week days (mornings and early afternoons. There are however some hours available at the weekend.
It is essential, that the candidate would have some experience of working with children or people who have disabilities. No driving license required.
Rate of pay is £10.42 per hour - to be increased to £11.44 in April. A DBS check and two references will be required.
