Summary

Come and join us in this new and exciting role of Community Coach supporting individuals in gaining employment on behalf of the Employment Support Programme (HHESP), in the Hillingdon area of London.

We’re recruiting a Community Coach who is able to provide expert advisory services to participants, with the overall objective of facilitating their access to, development within, and sustainability in education, training, or employment.

You’ll work closely with participants, age 16 and over who are unemployed by offering comprehensive support to participants, assisting them in identifying and surmounting the unique obstacles they face in achieving gainful employment. Creating individualised support packages designed to equip them with the requisite skills and confidence to secure and maintain employment.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £29,150 +10% London Weighting p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities


Build good relationships with local community organisations to facilitate the development of support and referral opportunities for participants.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities and Job Centre Plus.
Partnership working with core delivery partners and specialist partners to reach the wider goals of the project aims.



Skills and Experience


Essential

Experience of networking and ability to build strong good working relationships internally, across partnerships and external stakeholders.
Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, health conditions and disabilities in the community
Experience and empathy towards people who are disadvantaged and understanding of barriers to employment and participants progression.
Understanding of how to affect positive behaviour change.
Experience of working in a target driven environment
Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Desirable

Knowledge of the employability industry
Experience of working with people in the provision of ‘Information, Advice & Guidance’
Full driving license .
Experience of engaging effectively with the economically inactive groups.
