Personal Care Assistant – Billingham Area – £12.00
Minimum of 16 hours per week
** Due to the nature of this role involving personal care, we can only accept female candidates for this role **
An opportunity has arisen to join a team providing support and personal care to our client to help her remain independent within her own home. She shares her home with her father, who lives with dementia.
The successful candidate will join an established team, and will be working on a rota system. Hours of working will include weekend working and overnight care.
Experience of using a hoist, and catheter, stoma and NJ tube care is essential.
Duties to include:
Personal Care –
Support with washing, dressing. And personal hygiene Support with strict medication regime training will be given for this.
Domestic -
General household cleaning duties, including laundry, hoovering and other cleaning tasks as and when required. There will be other cleaning organizing and jobs requested by client.
Community -
weekly/daily shopping and collecting medications from local pharmacy on a daily basis.
Full driver’s licence & own transport preferred, but not essential.
An enhanced DBS check will be required. This will be arranged by the employer for the successful applicant.
