Summary
Looking for a full time, employed tractor driver.
You should be able to drive a tractor and trailer on the road.
Ideally with CSCS and the ability to use a 360 but not compulsory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a large tractor-trailer truck
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ensure cargo is secure and properly loaded
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to business policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year tractor driving experience
- Full clean driving record
- Ability to operate a large tractor-trailer truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and inspections on the vehicle
- Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately
*Immediate start for the successful candidate.
Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00 (approx) - occasional Saturday may be required.
After 12 week probation there will be a wage increase to £16 per hour.
