The ACS and PHC Product Team also hosts the Centre of Excellence for Data and Business Intelligence.
This role will be part of the IT Leadership Team at the Council, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
Suffolk County Council's Technology Service is aligned closely with our frontline services and continues to embed direct accountability for planning, designing, delivering, and operating our technology for the benefit of our frontline services, colleagues, and residents of Suffolk.
This is an exciting time to join our Technology Service. We continue to lead and develop our Product Teams and Centres of Excellence to support frontline services with their ambitions to innovate and use technology to transform and provide new ways of working and communicating.
Over the last 2 years, we have federated our Technology Leadership to align with each of the Directorates and embedded a clear line of responsibility and accountability for the delivery and operation of technology services, streamlined the structure and created specific Centres of Excellence on Data and Business Intelligence, Collaboration, and Automation and Integration.
We aim to take a proactive approach to running our technology services for each of our Directorates and continue to embed new processes whilst streamlining existing processes.
Please apply if you:
- have experience of running IT services for a large and complex organisation
- enjoy the challenge of defining and implementing your ideas whilst testing and seeking continuous feedback
- like being part of the early implementation to scale the building blocks that have been established in the design phase for the efficient and effective operation of the Product Team and the Centre of Excellence on Data and Business Intelligence
- can articulate and follow through on your vision to further develop the ACS and PHC Technology Products Portfolio for the Council
