Summary
The flexible job plan facilitates optimum usage of the facilities equally by all consultants. The successful applicant will be undertaking outpatient clinics, theatres, Interventional Radiology session and MDT once a week. The successful applicant will have one full day operating session on a six week schedule. The post holder will be expected to contribute towards the directorates teaching and audit responsibilities. Attendance at regular CME and morbidity/mortality meetings is considered essential. The post holder must participate in CPD activities to meet the requirements of revalidation. Workload This is a 10.25 PA post which incorporates 1.5 SPAs. Flexibility in association with service needs will be required within an annualised framework. The appointee will be expected to support clinical colleagues in offering a comprehensive vascular surgery service. The job plan may be altered in the future in consultation with colleagues, clinical director and medical director.
