Summary

Support the recruitment and selection process of international nurses, ensuring engagement in the process from leaders within the Trust Care Groups and services Act as a liaison between the Trust and professional organizations responsible for recruiting international nurses, ensuring that data requirements are met adequately and promptly Develop relationships with internationally recruited nurses before arrival in the country to understand and address any concerns professionally and within the settling in process Work with services to enable international recruits to be supported and fully integrated into wards/Divisions Liaise with managers, heads of departments and matrons about the progress of international staff and provide regular updates Provide practical and pastoral support to internationally recruited nurse Design, develop and support the delivery of an induction program for international nurse Liaise with organizations selected by the Trust for supporting the OSCE preparation process, planning for candidates to attend OSCE preparation and return to the Trus Liaise with OSCE providers, where necessary, to organize OSCE examinations/re-sits and support international nurses to obtain NMC Registration Provide supervision and support in clinical areas as needed and to assist the international nurses in gaining their NMC registration Where appropriate, provide feedback on an individuals progress within their clinical area. Providing constructive feedback and participating in action planning for further progress Ensure ESR forms are completed once NMC registration is obtained, to ensure international nurses are paid correctly Support other nursing recruitment-related projects, programmes and activities where required.
