Summary

We’re currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Operations Manager.

You’ll need to be an exemplar leader, applying a range of management and leadership skills to optimise positive performance. Be able to inspire, motivate and lead teams in a high-performance culture and be able to drive contract performance through a network of supply chain partners and a self-delivery management team across a wide geographical base.

You’ll work with colleagues on our Seetec Pluss Senior Leadership Team in order to identify opportunities for cross-contract collaboration leading to performance improvement in own and others’ contracts. However, we aren’t always looking for someone who ticks every single box we’re looking for someone who has the ability to seek out solutions to problems and have a high level of initiative and motivation

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £56,000 to £60,000 + 10% London Weighting p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities


Lead and manage the Employability contracts in the advertised geographical area,
Meet Key Performance Indicators set by DWP and other contract commissioners and prime providers for delivery of the Restart
Develop and continuously improve Employability UK operations and services
Manage and maintain a high performing supply chain for Restart and other employability contracts in the advertised geographical area which adds value to the overall service offer to DWP and our Programme participants.

Skills and Experience


Essential

Experience in delivering high performance outputs
Experience of delivering services to meet rigorous contractual and quality standards.
Experience in a senior operational management capacity.


Desirable

Member of the IEP
Experience of using management information to drive Continuous Improvement.
Experience of successful delivery of employability programmes.
Educated to degree level or equivalent managerial qualifications.
Understanding of the employability industry & the challenges faced in the employment market for newly unemployed people who may not have searched for work for many years.
Full driving licence to enable deployment across a number of teams, according to need
