Job Purpose:I am a friendly lady with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Parkinson’s who is seeking a female personal assistant to assist me with everyday living tasks such as personal care, light housework, meal prep, paperwork and to collect my prescription from the pharmacy. I require someone who can work Fridays from 10am to 1pm. As well as an additional 4 hours each week, to be used flexibly over 2 evening per week.Due to mobility issues, I am not able to get out of the house a lot and use a wheelchair to move around my home. I require assistance with washing whilst I am in bed, as well as getting dressed and putting cream on. I also require someone who can prepare me a light lunch and perform light housework duties such as changing the bed and vacuuming.There are times when, due to my Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, I can be quiet. Strong smells can also be off putting to me, as such I will require someone who will not wear perfume while working.I am a spirited lady, who is young at heart. I enjoy art and books, as well as good conversation about topical events and current affairs.Female personal assistant required due to personal care.Location: West RuntonDetails:

Summary terms and conditions:
  • The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
  • Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
  • Hours and days of work: Fridays,10am to 1pm
The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory references from one referee
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months

  • Should this role include any of the following duties: Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemical, Food Handling, handling of medication. You will be required undertake annual training.
