Calling all Approved Electricians in Worcestershire

We need an experienced Approved Electrician to join our Voids team in North Worcestershire.  If you thrive on finding solutions, giving great customer service, delivering end-to-end job completion right first time, and enjoy working in a team environment - we would love to hear from you!

What could you be doing?

You will deliver day-to-day electrical repairs, fault finding, maintenance, installation and compliance work including Inspection and Testing and completion of EICRs. You will play an important part of ensuring our homes meet the required Lettable standard.

We want somebody who can: 

A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

We are looking for someone who has:

Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification

City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection

18th Edition regulation

Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting

Experience of working in property maintenance for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.

Full driving licence

As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.  



There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is for a team based in Worcestershire so you will need to live in this area.

*The advertised salary is based on a base salary for electricians of £38,520 per annum with average OTE earnings of up to £1,900 per annum achieved from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role does require work on the out of hours rota.
