The Castle School Education Trust are recruiting for a Senior Behaviour Lead to join Mangotsfield School. Following its first Ofsted grading of “Good” two years ago, this is an exciting time for the school as the results continue to improve year on year and the school consolidates its reputation for support, gaining increasing popularity in the local area.
About the role We are looking for an exemplary leader to lead behaviour across the school. This role will be part of a strategic approach of early identification, preventative work, responsive sanctions and interventions. You will lead a large team of student support workers who have different responsibilities but all of whom support the smooth running of the school and its students. The role demands excellent personal and interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of teenagers, strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to evaluate and act accordingly. A sense of humour is a must! You will be fully supported by the senior leadership team and the heads of house. There will be opportunities to share knowledge with other behaviour leads across the trust. You will also liaise regularly with behaviour leads beyond the trust.
