Summary

Doing Amazing Things Together

We’re all about possibilities. Are you?

Are you a diligent, caring and determined person who is rewarding a job that can make you smile?

And patience. Do you have patience and empathy?

Become a Support Worker.

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for an energetic, adventurous person to join our team in Great Finborough. We support 5 people who are outgoing and active who live in a rural area. They love visiting the local cinema and going for long walks as well as puzzles, boat watching and seeing friends and family to name just a few of their passions.

You should be available to work a variety of shifts across the week which could include a mixture of early, late shifts or long days and alternate weekends, including some sleep-in shifts as needed.

An essential part of this role is being a driver and having access to your own vehicle.

So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Why Join Us?

We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, access to coaching, vouchers, discounts, cashback and more

You will be entitled to annual leave and have the ability to buy additional leave.

Fully funded health cash plans giving you access to a 24 hour GP, money back on prescriptions, dental treatment, opticians and access to many more health benefits

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all walks and puzzles. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.

It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!

If you want to empower people to live the life they choose within Great Finborough and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
