Summary
You will be joining a small team at this living heritage attraction, working aboard the Ducks Ditty barge, permanently moored on the canal in Tiverton.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has great communication and numeracy skills, is helpful and friendly, with a positive attitude to welcome visitors and provide an experience that keeps them coming back.
Duties will include making coffee/tea, cold beverages, including serving alcohol; scooping ice cream, cash handling; washing up and keeping the bar/galley and customer area clean and tidy.
Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential as training given.
This is a seasonal vacancy starting in May/June and ends Sept 2024.
various hours available:
Sun, Tue & Wed - 12 noon to 4 pm
Wed, Thur & Sat - 12 noon to 4 pm
Sat & Sun - 12 noon to 4 pm
Must be 18+ for serving alcohol.
