Job Title: Senior Accountant

Company Overview:

Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Ltd, on behalf of our partner, is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a multinational manufacturer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Manager in various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Revenue:

Reconcile stock levels between WMS & NAV.
Handle inventory & revenue accruals.
Process revenue recognition adjustments.
Manage Roland Store accounting and SiS-related stock movements.
Ensure the product loans process is well-organized.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
Manage the REG Finance mailbox.
Oversee direct channel sales reporting and processes.
Management Accounts:

Calculate branch commission and recharges.
Account for and review warranty & stock provisions.
Raise monthly & quarterly staff recharges as per service agreements.
Update Trial Balance (TB) and prepare financial statements for internal reporting.
Complete REG Financial highlights data.
Respond to RJA queries for quarterly DIVA reporting.
Assist in producing management accounts in accordance with IFRS.
Conduct monthly balance sheet revaluation.
Statutory Reporting:

Maintain a schedule of all European tax requirements and ensure timely payments.
Prepare tax returns and collaborate with external tax advisors for quarterly, half-yearly, and annual deadlines.
Manage tax provisions under IFRS in reporting cycles.
Monitor tax balance sheet accounts for accurate financial reporting.
Act as the primary contact for corporate tax-related queries and provide tax analysis and advice.
Assist in producing statutory accounts in line with IFRS.
Support Finance Manager during quarterly and year-end audits by external auditors.
Ad Hoc Tasks:

Assist the Head of Finance with project work.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
Provide mentorship to finance team members in their studies.
Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in inventory management and revenue recognition.
Familiarity with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Strong Excel skills are essential

Work Hours: Monday to Friday - office time
