Summary

We are seeking an Associate Director to spearhead a multi-disciplined team on technically challenging projects.

Reporting into the Country Manager, the role involves project management, delivering exceptional service to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our global consultancy.

The successful candidate will provide technical, design, and contract management support, ensuring the overall performance and financial success of their group.

  • Location: Paris office (2 days per week)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • French and English speaking

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Oversee the performance of the group office/function as part of the management team.
  • Lead in technology/discipline/sector and promote learning from both successes and challenges.
  • Develop and implement long-term plans for the benefit of the office/group.
  • Manage recruitment, appraisal, performance, development, morale, and motivation of staff.
  • Provide directional feedback and organise training for teams.
  • Ensure financial performance and healthy profit/cash flow in specified areas.
  • Procure work by negotiating significant contracts/agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • Handle complex escalated problems and maintain integrity, respect, and fairness within the team.
  • Promote a culture of respect and inclusion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CEng (or equivalent) of an appropriate professional body.
  • Recognised as an expert within the industry in own region.
  • Proven ability to manage complex problems and ensure financial success.
  • Demonstrated integrity, straightforward communication, respectfulness, and fairness.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, accountable, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Commercial awareness and acumen with a focus on financial success.
  • Ability to build strong customer/client relationships and effectively network.
