Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Plumbing/Heating Engineer to join our client’s friendly team in Jersey! You will carry out skilled work on heating systems, both residential and commercial. This will include installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair, and maintenance of both residential and commercial heating systems. If you possess the skills for these tasks, then we’d love to hear from you!
The daily duties will be as follows:
Installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of part of a residential or commercial heating system. This includes boilers, pipes and associated fixtures and equipment
Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements on services and associated systems
Carry out tasks within agreed time limits
Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
Meet own targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant NVQ/C&G in plumbing and heating, or equivalent
Positive attitude
Effective communication skills
Demonstrate and understand Health & Safety
Problem solving skills
Desirable Skill Set but not limited to:
Gas Safe or Oftec registration
The Package:
Overtime
Bonus System (Between 3% and up to a maximum of 10% of base salary
25 days holidays per annum + bank holidays
