Summary
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Competencies in all the following areas: Clinical Responsibilities Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care to meet the needs of individuals and groups within the practice population. To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct (NMC, 2002) To carry out skilled, evidence-based nursing care To demonstrate an analytical approach to clinical assessment of patients in the light of current research and resources. To evaluate and assess nursing care according to clinical need. To adhere to Elgar House and Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB policies and procedures where appropriate. Attend treatment room meetings. To adhere to PCN policies and procedures. Communication and Liaison Responsibilities Pro-actively establish good communication networks with all members of the practice team and with members of the Primary Health Care Team. Ensure good communication with Jessica Bethel and other members of Elgar House management team. To maintain records in accordance with the NHSE policy and that of the NMC Guidelines for records and record keeping (NMC,2002)
