Financial Assessor in Blackburn Paying £14.91 per hr ref 0008 8494 /1

Full time hours on a temporary basis

This role will involve:

Supporting Adult Social Care, the finance function financially assesses people who have care and support needs to establish how much they need to contribute towards the cost of their care.
These appointments can be face to face in a person's home or by telephone, whichever is the most appropriate
Experience of working with vulnerable people and their families is desirable and someone who can listen, communicate well verbally and is proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft.
The ideal candidates must have up to date DWP benefits experience and be able to support vulnerable people with claiming any entitlements.
Knowledge of Adult Social Care would be ideal but not essential and training will be provided.
