Your new company:
The Nicholas Hamond Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Swaffham, Norfolk, England. The present-day school was the product of a merger of the local grammar and secondary modern schools in 1977.
Your new role:
It is an HR Administrator, acting as a key and pivotal part of the school.
- To maintain an accurate and up-to-date paper and electronic filing system for personnel records.
- To complete a range of HR related paperwork and liaise with Payroll to ensure that new starters, leavers and changes to salaries are taken and actioned appropriately.
- To process staff changes and staff leaving documentation and arrange exit interviews.
- To produce a range of HR letters and correspondence (e.g. variation to contract letters, maternity, holiday entitlement) from standard templates.
- To take minutes at formal meetings (e.g. discipline, grievance, capability).
- To monitor the use of fixed term contracts and ensure that issues are followed up appropriately.
What you'll need to succeed:
*Proven experience with HR Administration
*An understanding of working in an educational setting.
*Experience in minute taking.
*Organised.
*Accurate.
*Be available to start immediately.
*Part-time role until the end of the academic year.
*Fully office based - In Swaffham
