We're actively seeking two Business Development Managers to join our innovative team, leading strategic employer engagement initiatives to drive sustainable growth and shape the future of our key account portfolio.

About the Roles

As a Business Development Manager, you'll represent one of HIT’s specialist divisions, expanding our key accounts and enhancing the value of our national clients. Your role will be pivotal in driving business, fostering new connections, and nurturing existing ones. You'll collaborate closely with internal departments to support bespoke development, resource creation, and seamless delivery.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:


Crafting and executing a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organisational goals.
Identifying new market opportunities and avenues for growth with current and potential clients.
Maximising client accounts through the full range of company offerings, including commercial services.
Remaining informed about industry developments, trends, competitors and customer needs.
Collaborating with sector leads to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
Assisting in negotiations to secure new business ventures.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Ensuring accurate maintenance of CRM records in line with GDPR and company standards.
Facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across departments.
Working towards set business development targets.


About you

We’re seeking a proactive Business Development Manager with a solid understanding of the apprenticeship and work-based learning landscape. You'll excel in selling to senior managers and have a proven track record of relationship building across all channels. Strong commercial acumen and a history of exceeding business development targets are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is also required.

Our Business Development Manager's can expect a competitive base salary starting from £27,000 plus our benefits and commission package:


Achievable commission structure, based on new starts for our programs (OTE £40,000 - £50,000)
