Summary
A lovely family in Exton, Okham is currently in search of a reliable and trustworthy Nanny Housekeeper to join their family in this wonderful long-term role for 30 hours per week. With a 2-year-old daughter and a 5-month-old son, the family are hoping to find a fun and caring Nanny who will take their daughter to various classes and activities, as well as engage and entertain both children at home and in the garden. Alongside supporting the children’s development and learning, you will also be required to assist with household tasks such as laundry, ironing, kitchen upkeep, vacuuming, changing bedding, and some simple cooking. The family do employ a cleaner and so your role as Nanny Housekeeper will be to keep the house tidy and organised. Both children have a nap during the day, often overlapping, providing time for these housekeeping duties.
The days and times for this role are Monday (8 am to 3 pm), Tuesday (8 am to 6:45 pm), Wednesday (11:30 am to 6:45 pm), and Thursday (8 am to 1 pm). Additionally, the candidate should be open to occasional evening babysitting or eventually the rare overnight stay if the family is away.
On the days starting at 8am, your responsibilities will include helping with breakfast and preparing for the day ahead. On days with a later finish, you will be asked to help with the evening and bath time routine. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in caring for newborns to toddlers and will need to be flexible in the role, as occasionally they will have sole charge of the 2-year-old, and other times, the 5-month-old, when Mum desires one-on-one time with her daughter. There will also be occasions when the candidate will have both children in their care when Mum is out or busy.
The start date for this role is April 29th, 2024, with a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour.
