Are you ready to take your career in Utility Surveying to the next level? Due to expanding workload, we're seeking motivated and committed Senior Utility Surveyor to join our established and growing client!

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience producing detailed underground utility surveys, with proficiency in EML and GPR technology. Experience in multi-disciplines is advantageous.

Role Description:

  • Conduct site surveys and investigative utility surveys.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Create Utility Survey Reports.
  • Mentor and train less experienced surveyors.
  • Gather data to produce mapping information of underground and overground supply services.
  • Lead and coordinate field teams on site.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects to ensure quality delivery.
  • Ability to undertake PAS128 Surveys.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Utility Surveyor, ideally with supervisory experience.
  • Advanced skills in Electromagnetic and Ground Penetrating Radar equipment.
  • Good knowledge of utility provider drawings.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility mapping and GPR.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in training other staff.
  • Ability to work away from home occasionally.
  • Previous experience in post-processing GPR data is desirable.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 5 qualification is beneficial but not essential.
  • CSCS qualification is beneficial but not essential.
