Rilmac Fabrication Ltd offers a diverse range of steel fabrication, assembly and finishing services for various industries including Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Automotive.
We are looking to recruit the post of Estimator with project engineering experience to join our current team. You should be able to prepare estimates from supplied design, process plans and schedules, or where not available, offer design using your experience, in accordance with customer detail and requirements. The role will cover ownership from enquiry through to completion. From Enquiry, you will determine sequence of operations and set up times, obtain materials cost and lead time quotes from external suppliers producing a schedule of works maximising labour and material efficiencies to finalise estimates and prepare final quotations within a timely manner.
It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role within the steel fabrication industry and a good understanding of various processes and materials used, including welding techniques. Production knowledge and experience is essential along with being proficient in Microsoft based software.
