Summary

Planning - Produce annual plans, budgets and KPIs for philanthropy income generation including identifying both the prospects and projects that will be core to the overall programme. Budgeting - Analyse income and expenditure on a monthly basis, using a set of KPIs to report on progress and forecast future results. Fundraising - Develop and deliver a relationship development process that comprises distinct phases of engagement from research throughdiscovery to delivery of tailored proposals and funding applications. Stewardship - Design, deliver and continually evolve the stewardship approach with particular attention to maintaining relationships andshowcasing impact via tools such as meetings, project visits and report writing. Reporting - Produce regular reports on philanthropy performance, monitor and report on KPIs; analyse results against targets; identify trends and make recommendations for future activities. People Management the role initially has no line reports, although it is anticipated that this income stream will grow and therefore abusiness case for a staff member reporting to this role is anticipated. Some management of volunteers on a project-by-project basis may berequired. Relationships external Lead on the management of relationships with a range of trust, corporate and HNWI supporters. Relationships internal work with internal colleagues from across the NHS trust to identify suitable projects that can be packaged up into funding propositions. This will involve relationship building and ensuring a timely flow of information such as project aims, budgets and intended outcomes for the beneficiary group. Innovation - Manage a continuous cycle of testing and learning. Compliance ensure that all aspects of philanthropy activity are conducted in a transparent manner that is in line with the values of the organisation and in compliance with best practice (as per guidelines set out by the relevant organisations such as Charity Commission, CIOF and Fundraising Regulator).
