Job Description:

A prestigious award-winning house builder based in East Scotland are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team. They have several exciting new projects and a strong pipeline of land which is why they are expanding their team in 2024.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations and management
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on site
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress and quality of work on site
• Assist in the timely completion of projects within budget

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
• First Aid certification
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Scaffold Awareness training (desired)

Education:

NVQ Level 4 or qualification in Construction Management related field

Experience:

• Prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of timber frame construction
• Experience with new build housing projects
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
