Young man in Ashington area requires an enabler to support with 3hrs per week , hours to be arranged flexibly but hopefully 1.5hrs on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Experience preferred of working with clients with Aspergers.
MUST LIKE DOGS AND CATS
Driver required with access to car (business insurance will be required)
Hours of work: 3hrs per week

Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Main Duties:

Client has anxiety about going out and accessing the community so it’s hoped the successful applicant will work towards supporting client with this although initially hours may take place in the home whilst building up confidence and trust.

Client enjoys playing computer games and has an interest in politics and discussions around current affairs.

Client enjoys walking his dog with family members to it’s hoped the successful applicant would be able to do this.

Car driver will be required when client feels comfortable to travel with worker as client is unable to use public transport.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
