Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist in our North Kent MSK Physiotherapy Team. This role is suitable for a qualified Band 5 Physiotherapist looking for a static MSK role or for a physiotherapy student nearing the end of their studies.

You will be able to consolidate and build on your skills with regular in-service training, clinical supervision and allocated personal Continued Professional Development (CPD) time; there are also Trust-wide Clinical Special Interest Groups available. We have an established appraisal system to actively support your CPD.

We provide outpatient MSK care to the population of North Kent. We are based in Gravesham Hospital and also work from the Community Hospital on the Isle of Sheppey.

The post holder will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment and treatment of outpatients.

They will be responsible for the management of their own caseload of patients and maintaining appropriate records under the supervision of a senior physiotherapist.

They will conduct some assessments virtually to assess patients across the wider Kent Musculoskeletal Service.

They will be actively involved in the running of outpatient group sessions as provided by the service e.g. lower limb classes, Back rehabilitation Classes and ESCAPE knee class.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, embrace change and innovation, work well under pressure and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
