Summary
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Service Coordinator for a Local Authority Client based in North London.
As the Service Coordinator, you will provide high-quality support within the Children Looked After service, ensuring the smooth operation of fostering and permanence processes.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
• Coordinate and manage Permanency Planning Meetings, including scheduling, minuting, and case tracking.
• Provide administrative support for recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members.
• Maintain accurate records, trackers, and databases to support data reporting and decision-making processes.
• Arrange and facilitate key meetings with internal and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Record minutes and notes in meetings, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to statutory guidelines.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
• Experience working in a fast-paced, citizen-focused environment, preferably within children and young people's services.
• Proficient in using software packages, systems, and databases to input and extract data accurately.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance relating to children and young people's services is desirable.
What’s on offer
Salary: £18+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
