Summary
Here at Ripe Now Ltd we are as passionate about our people as we are about Fresh Produce. Our busy packing facility in Kirton is currently looking for a Production Runner to join the family.
Ideally we are looking for someone with direct experience who holds a current POEP truck license. However, we will train the right person.
The main responsibility of this role is to assist in the smooth running of the production & ripening teams by timely movement of stock to and from lines and to and from the stores based on allocations.
- To ensure safe usage of POEP trucks
- To ensure the lines remain supplied with product in a timely manner
- To place finished product in the correct allocated location
- Ensure hygiene standards across the site are met
- To follow stock allocation information
- Have some stock management knowledge and skill
- Daily checking of forklifts and barrows to ensure good working condition
- Adhere to Health and Safety always
The Production team operates on a 12 hour working day based on a rotating shift (2,2,3) pattern, and overtime is available to those who want it. Due to the remote location of the factory it is preferred if employees have their own transport.
