Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £28,203 to £32,039 per annum, with potential progression up to £39,586 per annum
Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused, IT support professional to join our Service Desk team.
About the Role
This role sits within our Service Desk and provides students, staff and University associates with technical support and advice regarding a wide range of complex IT Services (desktop, laptops, tablets, smartphones, audio-visual, desktop software and hardware, multi-function printers/ copiers/scanners) resolving as many incidents and requests on first contact as possible and managing all calls to ensure resolution within target service levels.
About You
You will have a proven track record of working in a frontline technical IT support role, providing excellent customer service, with experience of managing incidents throughout the incident lifecycle. You will possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational and time management skills, have a sound knowledge of technical IT concepts and be customer focused.
You will require a flexible approach and the ability to work in what can be a high pressure environment. You will have a good working knowledge of end-user applications across a range of devices and operating systems. Familiarity with the ITIL Incident Management process would also be advantageous.
