James is 10 year old, he is autistic and also has ADHD and is non verbal. We are currently looking for a PA to support James in his home to ensure his safety and security. James requires prompts for toileting and eating, he is quite happy to entertain himself and is content in doing so. It would be ideal for someone to build a good relationship with James with the view to eventually going out into the community to access local parks.
We are currently looking to recruit for 20 hours per week, which could potentially increase. The hours can be flexible however would need to be after school during term time, they can be different during school holidays, James would require some structure and develop a routine.
