We a seek a Welsh speaking Country Partnership Manager to represent the Money and Pensions Service across a wide spectrum of sectors. Responsibilities:

The Country Partnership Manager will report directly to the Wales Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Represent the organisation with a wide range of external stakeholders across private, public and third sectors including local Government, local partnerships, housing associations, employers, health services and others
  • Inputs into the development, implementation and successful delivery of the engagement strategy and business plan for their country
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that delivery is in line with overall business strategy and objectives
  • Plan and deliver forums, events and communications which help to deliver the business plan by bringing together cross sector groups to improve customer access to help and support.
  • Share with external stakeholders the strategic approach to the delivery plan of the service in respect of debt, money and pensions advice, and associated research and good practice.
  • Identify and manage reputational risks in their country.
  • Work with partners to, identify opportunities to work together on co-commissioning of services.
  • Engage with employers to identify how the service can introduce and deliver propositions for their employees which can improve the way they manage their money debt and pensions.
  • Expand the collaboration between organisations in their country to maximise impact for people who need support, guidance and advice in our areas of interest
  • Identifies opportunities to support marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with our internal colleagues to understand current supply chain opportunities and constraints and identify ways to increase and bring new providers onboard
  • Sharing knowledge about trends and insight gained from working with external bodies and feedback that knowledge to shape future strategy.

Skills and Experience:

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Welsh Speaker
  • Expertise in relationship and key account management with a proven ability to influence organisations to gain buy in and engagement.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively with a wide range of organisations both private and public sector.
  • The ability to connect effectively with different audiences with diverse and sometimes conflicting agendas
  • Good understanding of local policy in their country and its importance to the organisation’s goals
  • Good understanding of the advice services sector and / or experience of working in The Money, Debt, Pensions and advice sector
  • Proven experience of working to and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent presentation and networking skills.
  • Demonstrable project management capability.
  • Enthusiasm drive and ‘self-starter’ abilities
  • Driving Licence and use of vehicle

  • You will be able to operate and challenge from a place of credibility and confidence in your own abilities
  • You will have a high degree of personal resilience and be a self-starter who is comfortable with exercising their judgment and working with ambiguity.
  • Be comfortable working in the strategic space as well as the practical application of plans and services
  • You will take personal responsibility to ensure that deadlines are met, and goals achieved, working at pace often giving discretionary effort
  • You will be comfortable leading in your role as well as being part of a team
  • You never compromise on standards and always looks to add value in everything you do.
