Job Title: Physiotherapist Grade: Band 7 Ward/Dept: Childrens Therapies and Gait Location: Oxford Childrens Hospital, OX3 9DU / Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, OX3 7LD Trust: Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Hours: 37.5 hours Monday-Friday Shift Pattern: 8:30-16:30 Pay Rate: £30.16 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Childrens Neuro-Orthopaedics at the Childrens Therapy based in Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the Childrens Hospital. We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about people and enabling their rehabilitation to fulfil this exciting role. Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. If you are successful in your application to this post, you will be expected to co-ordinate and lead the Childrens Physiotherapy Neuro-orthopaedic caseload, for both the in and outpatient services, assessing and treating children between new-born age and 18 years. The role will involve providing exceptional MSK physiotherapy service in Childrens orthopaedics across the Trust, and work as an independent practitioner alongside Childrens Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Childrens Orthopaedic Fellow. A successful candidate will have previous experience in a management or leadership position, as they will have to deliver training and supervision junior staff member to develop their professional skills. The role will also require the candidate to have advanced diagnostic skills, allowing them to accurately interpret results to make the appropriate referrals and act accordingly. To be successful in applying for this role you will need: Current relevant professional registration Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience Enhanced DBS UK/NHS experience Experience in the field of Neuro-Orthopaedics Experience working in Paediatrics Desirable to have experience of working with patients with Cerebral Palsy Job description Job description can be provided upon request.
