Summary
As a Senior Sister/ Charge Nurse you will work with our Ground Floor nursing teams and report directly into the Head of Department. Our Ground Floor Department contains 30 beds and includes residents with complex neurological and respiratory needs. You will work to support the multi-disciplinary team and junior nursing teams in caring for people of all ages who are living with neurological and long-term conditions, including those living with physical disabilities and recovering from traumatic injuries, and providing a high level of personal and rehabilitative care. You will contribute to the leadership of the department, working closely with the Head of Department and there will be opportunities to develop your leadership skills. It can be very physical working with people with limited mobility, providing personal care and although challenging, it is highly rewarding. Youll be supported by a team of colleagues ready to lend a hand and work together to a common goal.No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.
