Our client require Labourers to join their solar panel cleaning and installation team to clean and maintain solar panels on industrial properties.
Please note that working away is a regular
(£20 food and drink allowance included whilst working away)
Job Overview
In your new role as a Solar Panel Cleaning Engineer you will be part of the operations and maintenance team, responsible for undertaking the task off ensuring the PV modules are free from soling, dust, dirt and all other debris.
The work will be carried out by using a specially designed module cleaning robot or a telescopic brush and hose, depending on the size of the installation.
This will be completed to achieve the highest level of service for the client.
You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports.
When required you will be helping out on installations, this will include general labouring and assisting in all aspects of installation, this will give you an on hands training and experience.
Please note you will be required to work at heights at times.
What we are looking for
Experience within Solar PV industry is desirable, but not essential.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to work away from home on occasions.
Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
You'll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focused with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
