Summary

Doing Amazing Things Together

We’re all about possibilities. Are you?

Are you an active and energetic person who enjoys running, walking and keeping fit?

Become a Support Worker

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for someone to join our team supporting a gentleman who lives in his own home in Market Weighton.

You will be working in his home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. He enjoys exploring the local charity shops, loves animals, running and fitness but also likes to watch a good DVD too. If you share these interests, we want to hear from you!

We can offer you full time or part time and you should be available to work from 8am to 10pm across the week and some weekends. You do not need to be able to drive for this role, however, public transport will not get you here on weekends.

So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

Why Join Us?

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.

We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, access to coaching, vouchers, discounts, cashback and more.

We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all fitness and films. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy

If you want to empower our gentleman in Market Weighton to live the life he chooses, and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
