Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at Green Lane Infant School. The School seeks to appoint an exceptional individual to work in the classroom and cover colleagues across the school for in-service training, meetings and absence.This role will suit professionals with experience of leading groups of children in an educational setting.Candidates need to:
Deliver lessons in the absence of the teacher
Liaise with teaching staff regarding the work set for assigned classes
Liaise with pastoral staff as necessary
Deliver the curriculum by effectively communicating the work set to pupils
Ensure that the required resources needed in order deliver the covered lessons are availableManage the behaviour of pupils and ensure a positive learning environment
Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with school policy and proceduresCollect and mark completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacherMaintain a safe and positive environment for all learners.
Create opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability.
Ensure the health, safety and welfare of pupils/students is maintained at all times
