Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Supervisor to supervise our team of Cleaning Operatives and the Cleaning Services that we provide to our valued client based at Walshaw Road, Bury, BL83AF.

Job Type: Permanent- Part Time.

Pay Rate: £12.47 per hour.

Working Hours: 30Hrs per week, 6Hrs per day, any 5 days out of 7 working days - 08:00Hrs to 14:00Hrs

Start Date: Immediately.

Overview of Role:

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning/housekeeping service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations.
The CQC is the body which makes sure Health service`s provide people with safe effective and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

-You will interact with and support the Account Management team in supervising a team of cleaning staff across your designated site(s).
-You will build effective relationships and ensure that employees are working productively and safely.
-Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
-You will work closely with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.
-Support and guide the site cleaning teams to achieve excellent service levels.
-Provide and manage comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
-Reporting any maintenance issues (damages, faults) to management teams.
-Work with customers to address any specific requirements or concerns.
-Carrying out regular site cleaning audits and any failures actioned within a 48 hour period.
-Support in the recruitment and training of new employees including site familiarisation detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures as well as opening and lock-up procedures.
-Provide hands-on cleaning support across sites and respond to cleaning requests as required.
-Provide up to date safety and Tool box talks for training on a regular basis and record keep accurate records.
-Scheduling and assigning specific duties and roles to cleaners and ensuring they are carried out and maintained to the correct standards.
-Support in rota organisation as well as providing accurate timesheets to the accounts management team.
-Manage equipment, materials and stock levels and place orders where required.
-Contribute to and maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.
-Complete the regular audits required to measure the cleaning performance.
-Ensure that the team comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
-Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values.
-Any reasonable requests from your line manager applicable to your role.

ABOUT YOU:

-Must have supervisory experience and be able to supervise a small team, able to complete weekly rotas, weekly timesheets, consumables ordering and possess basic IT skills.
-Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
-Hands on.
-Ability to build credible relationships.
-Reasonable IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
-Experience of audits and working with high standards.
-Ability to listen to and motivate employees.
-Proven record of being responsive and innovative.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
-Strong organisational skills.
