Salary Grade 6 £17,969 to £19,904 (£23,898 to £24,300 FTE)
In order to keep up with a dramatic rise in student numbers and further planned expansion, we
are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants. Do you want to come and join us?
You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives, supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, helping them achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be proactive, familiar in working with children, engaging and patient. You will have knowledge and experience of Autistic spectrum conditions, and have the ability to remain calm, assertive and professional at all times. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, across years 7-11, to develop relationships across our school and the Wigston Academy Trust. We welcome applications from experienced LSAs or those with relevant experience and transferable skills.

Wigston Academies Trust is made up of Wigston Academy (11-16) and Wigston College (16- 19). Both were rated strong good in our last OFSTEDs in May and June 2022. In each of our schools our pastoral care, our advice and guidance, and above all student behaviour, are rated as strengths.
