Location: Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen
Duration: Fixed Term Apprenticeship, Full Time
The Modern Apprenticeship Programme is targeted at building our workforce of the future. Funding for training is available for applicants aged 16-19 and 20-24 (depending on the framework) and for disabled and care-experienced applicants between the age of 16-29. About the Role:
The purpose of this role is to support and assist with a variety of tasks within the Revenues and Benefits Team that will widen the post holder’s knowledge and experience in this service area, alongside completing a Modern Apprenticeship framework. The postholder will assist in providing an efficient and effective administrative service for Revenues and Benefits and should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail and a customer service ethos.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

· Ability to understand and follow instructions · Self-motivated team player · An ability to understand and apply complex regulations · Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing · Good numeric skills · Proven attention to detail and high levels of accuracy · An ability to work co-operatively and flexibly · A focus on delivering excellent customer service · An ability to deal with high volumes of work without affecting quality · Ability to use ICT systems and programmes, such as Microsoft Office
