Summary


The Speech and Language Therapy service for the Adult acute and neuro-rehabilitation beds at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) has an exciting opportunity for a band 7 highly specialist SLT to work within the Neuro Rehabilitation Outpatient Team at Linden Lodge. This is a close knit well-established multi-disciplinary team. You will be part of a large dynamic SLT department where you will have peer supervision and the opportunity to collaborate with other SLTs at NUH who also deliver outpatient SLT services, together the SLTs within the larger acute SLT service. There are opportunities for training and development of your clinical and your leadership skills.

This is a permanent post with 6 sessions (22.5 hours/3 days) available.

The post holder with provide a specialist clinical service and provide high quality Speech and Language Therapy services to a range of outpatients with acquired neurological conditions We are looking for someone with advanced clinical reasoning, critical thinking and reflection skills. There is close working with clinical MDT for co-ordinated and integrated clinical care. The post-holder will also work with the MDT for service development, service evaluation and governance. There is also close working with the other outpatient SLTs within the service for mutual mentoring.
