Leading Healthcare Charity is looking for a Banking Administrator to join their growing Finance team.

Position: Banking Administrator

Location:Hybrid (2-3 half days in Northampton)

Salary:£22,000 per annum

Hours:35 hours per week

Contract:Permanent

About the role:

As Banking Administrator your role will be to improve the accuracy of our fundraising income figures, ensuring that both the accounting system and the CRM databases are reporting the same figures in a timely manner, thus helping the charities fundraising teams better manage their operational plans and support the Charity's ambitions.

Key responsibilities include:

- To ensure that all income is captured, processed, and recorded in both our accounting system and our CRM database.

- Developing and improving the reconciliation process working closely with the Finance Team, the Customer Experience team and the Supporter CRM Manager.

- Frequent visits to our Northampton office to support our Supporter Relations team and deal with ad hoc finance tasks.

- To process BACS collections using AccessPay on behalf of the supporter relations team.

- Building strong relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders including the individual giving, legacy, in- memory, and events teams.

- Provide accurate and incisive reports to the management teams to help them make decisions, inform strategy including cash-flow management and identify errors, omissions and failings in procedures and policies.

Key skills:

- A good level of level of education with qualification passes in English and Maths, preferably with AAT or equivalent level 5 standard qualification or qualified by experience and the willingness to undertaken further training.

- Good Excel skills including use of Vlookups, pivot tables and Sumifs.

- Being professional and willing to be an advocate for themselves and team. A team player, with evidence of working well with others and good communication skills.

- Have an enquiring and investigative mind with openness to new ideas and ways of doing things - able to see the “bigger picture”.
